Case study: Managing stutters

Feb 15, 2014

Peggy was approached by a client – a partner in a very large global law firm – to help him manage his stutter.

Although the stutter had troubled him throughout his life, it had not hindered his professional career.  The problem was intermittent but when it did emerge, it was a worrying and unpredictable problem.

Although her client had had learned techniques from professionals before, it wasn’t until he mastered the breathing technique which Peggy taught him, that he felt he really could access much more control over the stutter.  When it emerged, it was now almost always unnoticeable.
